This white paper explores the creation of a dedicated Lunar Registry to catalogue critical mission details such as the launching state, operating actor, location, time, and more. A Global Registry of Lunar Objects and Activities will allow governments, private operators, financial institutions and other stakeholders to set a baseline for information sharing, promote a clear understanding of past, current and future activities, and enable appropriate coordination to reduce risk. It will promote transparency around lunar activities as a key component of lunar exploration and empower the public to engage with the development of the lunar economy and environment. An executive summary of the white paper is available to read at https://www.openlunar.org/library/bright-moon-executive-summary
