This white paper explores the creation of a dedicated Lunar Registry to catalogue critical mission details such as the launching state, operating actor, location, time, and more. A Global Registry of Lunar Objects and Activities will allow governments, private operators, financial institutions and other stakeholders to set a baseline for information sharing, promote a clear understanding of past, current and future activities, and enable appropriate coordination to reduce risk. It will promote transparency around lunar activities as a key component of lunar exploration and empower the public to engage with the development of the lunar economy and environment.
